As many make-up junkies are MAC Lovers how can I not follow the trend! From their gorgeous shimmering eye pigments to their rosey blushers….everyone wants a bit of MAC in their make-up bag.
My top 5 favourites that i’m loving at the moment are MAC’s Pigment in Softwash Grey, Shroom Eyeshadow, Beauty Marked Eyeshadow, Shimmer Blush in Flirt & Tease and Viva Glam II Lipstick.
MAC’s Pigment in Softwash Grey is a beautiful shimmery silvery grey with blue/purple under-tones. It’s a very versatile product as with all of MAC’s pigments it can be used on the eyes or body to give a light wash or intense colour. If mixed with a sealent (a clear liquid) it can also be used as a liquid eyeliner that will add a gorgeous glam look to even the simplest of eye make-up.
MAC’s Shroom Eyeshadow is a lovely ivory eyeshadow that has a slight shimmer. It’s great for the brow bone and inner tear duct area to open up the eyes- its a universal colour that should be the staple product of every girls make-up bag because of it’s multiple uses.
MAC’s Beauty Marked Eyeshadow is a highly pigmented smouldering black eyeshadow with gem like maroon glitter under-tones that will add a definite WOW factor to any smokey eye. The colour blends really well and can be used to give a light wash of colour or a really intense dramatic charcoal black look. This is one of my all time favourite MAC eyeshadows.
MAC’s Shimmer Blush in Flirt & Tease is a pretty dark pinky colour with slight goldy brown under-tones. It can be used to give a light dusting of colour over the apples of the cheeks or more of a strong colour along the cheekbones. This is a great powder blush that goes with many eyeshadow looks and is particularly great for yellow toned or asian skin.
MAC’s Viva Glam II Lipstick is a subtle fleshy toned lipstick that will go with almost any type of make-up be it smokey, sparkley or natural looking. It has a slight shine to it so it can look matte or with clear lip gloss it can give you that beautiful natural pinky pout.
So there’s my top 5 MAC favourites- what are yours?
