Lauren Luke- Look Like A Star, Book Review

Hey Glam Girls I’ve been looking forward to getting my copy of Lauren Luke’s
book Look Like A Star and it’s finally arrived.  I bought it from Amazon
for just £9.34- a good deal. 

It’s a really pretty book made for us girlies who love pink post-it notes and swirly patterns- it was definitely designed with colour in mind.  Its eye-catching and the layout is great, so simple, step-by step and very easy to read.  It’s as though Lauren has given you her make-up notes to help you master the art of make-up in an easy starightforward helpful hints guide book.

It starts of by telling you the basics to foundation, eye make-up and brushes and then goes on to give you an excellent easy to understand way of achieving celebrity inspired looks.  The great thing about these looks is that they really are just inspired looks rather than copies so you can play around with the look to suit your own style.  My two favourites are the all time classic Leona Lewis inspired look and the Ashley Tisdale – Girls Night Out Look.

The book also covers everyday looks that us girls would love to know like the Office Chic Look and the First Date Look.

This book is perfect for young teenage girls who are looking to experiment with make-up but it  is just as useful to the more mature ladies who are looking to change their make-up style.  In fact it is a must-have for any make-up lover and there are so many helpful tips that I’m sure you will learn something from it.  The book would make a great gift but if you can’t wait like myself then definitely go out and treat yourself to a copy.
