Real Asian Bridal Makeover- Registry & Wedding

Hi Guy’s as you all know I’ve been quite busy as we are still in the peak wedding season so I thought I’d give you a sneak peek into one of my client’s asian bridal makeovers.

The first makeover was a registry look. Working with a beautiful white saree I blended soft creams and shimmery flesh toned colours like MACs Grain and Shroom to give a flattering but yet light look with black eyeliner to give definition to the eye. The cheeks had a hint of peachy pink glow and the lips were kept nude using MACs Viva Glam II lipstick.

For the hair, it was loosely curled with a quiff and then pinned to the side. The hair accessories gave this simple hairstyle a glamorous look.

The second makeover was a traditional asian bridal look. This was achieved using smokey golds & bronzes from MAC like Woodwinked, Bronze and Sable; lined with stunning green eyeliner. The cheeks were given a hint of peachy gold and the lips were a flattering deep red to compliment the beautiful saree.

The hair was swept to the side and worked into a beautiful high updo with hair extensions to hold the saree in place on the crown of the head.

MAC In the Groove Soft Pink Look

Hi Guy’s- hope you are all well- sorry I haven’t had a chance to upload anymore videos recently as I have been really busy due to the bridal season.

However, here is a video I did a few weeks back about MACs new in the groove collection. This is a stunning soft pink eye look done with few products from that collection and it would look great as a party look or even as a striking everyday look. Hope you enjoy it.x

Flawless & Glowy Foundation Application

Hey Guy’s I hope you enjoy this much requested video on my foundation routine.

In the video I have used NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Stromboli. This is a beautiful, silky liquid foundation that glides over the skin leaving it unbelievably soft, flawless and glowy- it really illuminates the skin from within. I would say it’s a must-have product for any makeup addict. x

Stunning Pink & Grey Registry Asian Bridal Look

As we are in the midst of the busy wedding season I was inspired by this lovely silver jewellery and thought I’d do this stunning pink and grey asian bridal look that could also be worn for an engagement or registry. As the jewellery is silver there is no sign of the classic gold eyeshadow. This is a modern take on a traditional look, as the jewellery and outfit follow the traditional trend.

Sultry Purple Asian Bridal Look- Inspired by Preity Zinta

Hi Guy’s, As the peak wedding season is approaching fast I thought I’d do a sultry asian bridal look inspired from the beautiful Preity Zinta from the Bollywood film Veer Zaara. The makeup isn’t that clear on the picture but in the actual film she has light purple eye makeup so I thought I’d show you my take on it. This look would also work well with any cream or ivory outfit as it would just add a bit of drama to the outfit by injecting a hint of colour. Hope you enjoy it.x

HOT PINK- that’s right Glam Girls this is the new red for asian brides this season. Whether you choose to wear it for your wedding reception or for your actual wedding ceremony it’s a colour that will definitely make heads turn. It’s great if you want to make a change from the traditional red but still want to make a loud impact with colour. I have noticed a recent trend in many Pakistani brides opting for this choice in colour so I thought it would be a great look to do however; this makeup look would compliment many hot pink outfits- so I hope you enjoy it.x
