Thank you so much to Rashmi for sharing these special moments with us all. I am sure you will all agree Rashmi looked elegantly beautiful; going for a fresh faced look with neutral tones. All the eyeshadows used were by MAC which beautifully enhanced Rashmi’s green eyes and the lips were kept a nude peachy brown.

For the hair, it was loosely curled and enhanced with extensions; then brought to the side in a sophisticated twist.

Hi Glam Girls here is another peek at one of my asian bridal makeovers. This is a beautiful gold traditional look with Jodha Akbar inspired jewellery. The makeup was kept in line with traditional colours of smokey golds, browns and a hint of red finishing off with beautiful blood red lips.

Hi Glam Girl’s thanks to another one of my gorgeous brides- I am able to share some beautiful snapshots from Kiran’s wedding and reception with you all.

For the morning ceremony I worked smouldering golds on the eyes with a hint of red blended in at the corners and then beautiful bold red lips to complete the traditional Indian bridal look. The hair was tied into a traditional bridal bun with a middle parten to display the tikka. The overall look was completed with sparkly bindis framing the eyebrows.

For the evening deep marine blues and plum purples were blended to give a striking smokey eye and the overall look was kept contemporary by going for nude lips with lipgloss. The hair was loosely curled and pinned to the side with a quiff.

Hi Guy’s as you all know I’ve been quite busy as we are still in the peak wedding season so I thought I’d give you a sneak peek into one of my client’s asian bridal makeovers.

The first makeover was a registry look. Working with a beautiful white saree I blended soft creams and shimmery flesh toned colours like MACs Grain and Shroom to give a flattering but yet light look with black eyeliner to give definition to the eye. The cheeks had a hint of peachy pink glow and the lips were kept nude using MACs Viva Glam II lipstick.

For the hair, it was loosely curled with a quiff and then pinned to the side. The hair accessories gave this simple hairstyle a glamorous look.

The second makeover was a traditional asian bridal look. This was achieved using smokey golds & bronzes from MAC like Woodwinked, Bronze and Sable; lined with stunning green eyeliner. The cheeks were given a hint of peachy gold and the lips were a flattering deep red to compliment the beautiful saree.

The hair was swept to the side and worked into a beautiful high updo with hair extensions to hold the saree in place on the crown of the head.

However, here is a video I did a few weeks back about MACs new in the groove collection. This is a stunning soft pink eye look done with few products from that collection and it would look great as a party look or even as a striking everyday look. Hope you enjoy it.x

In the video I have used NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Stromboli. This is a beautiful, silky liquid foundation that glides over the skin leaving it unbelievably soft, flawless and glowy- it really illuminates the skin from within. I would say it’s a must-have product for any makeup addict. x
